Product Development Manager: Manages the entire fashion product development process, from design concept to final production. This involves trend analysis, material sourcing, and collaboration with designers and manufacturers.
Production Manager: Oversees the fashion production process, managing the manufacturing workflow, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring quality and timeline standards are adhered to.
Garment Technologist: Works to ensure garments are produced efficiently and to a high standard. Working with design and production teams to improve production methods, fabric technologies, and fit.
Textile Designer: Designs fabric weaves and prints for clothes and furnishings. They often specialise in either fashion or interior textiles.
Colour Specialist: Works to ensure colour consistency across different materials, designs, and productions. They understand the science of colour and how it translates into different mediums.
Sample Maker: Creates the first version of a garment from a designer's sketch or pattern to provide a tangible representation of the design.
Fabric Buyer: Procures all fabric and trims needed for production. They research and keep up with textile trends, source suppliers, and negotiate pricing.
Size Specialist / Fit Model: Works with the design team to fit garments onto the body and provide feedback on fit, movement, and feel of the garment.
